PAIA Manual
This Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”) overview applies to Selio (Pty) Ltd t/a LunSa Loans as a private body. It is intended to help requesters understand how to ask for records. A longer formal manual (organogram, detailed record categories, prescribed private-body fees schedule) may be expanded in a later revision; the process and forms below remain available now.
1. Purpose
PAIA gives effect to the constitutional right of access to information held by the state and by private bodies where that information is required for the exercise or protection of rights, subject to justifiable limitations.

- Website / IT operational logs (where retained)
Some records are confidential or protected by the NCA, POPIA, attorney–client privilege, or other law, and may be refused under PAIA grounds.
5. How to request access
- Complete the Information Regulator’s prescribed Form 2 (Request for Access to Record) where practical, or email the Information Officer with the same particulars.
- Attach proof of identity (and proof of authority if you request on behalf of another person).

- Allow a reasonable time for a written response (grant, partial grant, or refusal with reasons). Private bodies are generally expected to respond within the timeframes contemplated in PAIA / the Regulations.
